Join Our Team!The opportunityWe are looking to hire two new managers for our Engineering Department to lead the Primary Engineering unit. The Primary Engineering team handles the electromechanical design of substations, and is responsible for layout and design.
We are using Autodesk Construction Cloud as the main tool for our work in this section, and plan to extend the use of this platform in to our other teams. We seek dynamic and strategic leaders to guide, manage, and coordinate our Engineering team. This role involves enhancing team performance and development to ensure all activities meet necessary standards and fulfil our commitments to customers. How You'll Make An ImpactCollaborate with other departments to manage supplies from an engineering perspective, including analysing resource demand for capacity management.
Provide insights, develop, and manage team priorities to ensure performance and quality goals are met throughout all project phases. Build operational capacity through effective people management and strategic planning, supporting the establishment and deployment of necessary frameworks. Ensure processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences, supporting business strategy and defining specific processes and tools. Set goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results. Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed. Develop the team and build the capacity required by the strategic plan.
Your backgroundBachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge of substation technology AIS and GIS. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.   Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills.   It is an advantage with experience from the energy sector.    Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
