We are dedicated to supporting individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.We are now seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator with UK home care experience to join our administrative team, working remotely from Zimbabwe (Ruwa, Harare). This is a key role ensuring smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and effective communication between our UK clients, care support workers, and management teams.Key ResponsibilitiesClient and Staff LiaisonServe as the main point of contact between clients, families, and care staff.Manage client referrals, waiting lists, and initial assessments efficiently and confidentially.Coordinate and oversee risk assessments, reassessments, and care planning.Prepare, implement, and regularly review care plans and MAR charts.Ensure communication logs are completed, actioned, and stored according to compliance standards.Maintain accurate client and staff records on digital systems (e.g. Webroster).Match client needs with CSW skills and availability to ensure safe, person-centred care.Coordinate rotas, manage schedule changes, and communicate updates promptly.Collect feedback from clients, carers, and staff to support continuous service improvement.Make referrals to external agencies and ensure continuity of care where necessary.Identify and escalate concerns related to health, safety, or safeguarding.Operational OversightEnsure care delivery meets commissioned hours, budget, and service standards.Maintain compliance and accuracy in all care documentation (care plans, MAR charts, logs, reports).Support staff in completing timely care notes and incident reports.Facilitate effective communication across the care team and management.Uphold confidentiality, safeguarding, and equality principles at all times.Care Staff ManagementSupport recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and appraisal of care staff.Contribute to regular team meetings, training, and development initiatives.Identify training needs and assist in implementing the annual staff training plan.Quality and ComplianceEnsure ongoing compliance with CQC standards and company policies.Promote safeguarding, confidentiality, and equal opportunities throughout operations.Support audits, incident management, and quality monitoring processes.Carer Engagement & Service DevelopmentEngage with carers to assess satisfaction and identify areas for service enhancement.Represent carer feedback and perspectives in planning and review meetings.Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for service improvement and growth.Promoting Safehands Live-in Care LtdRepresent the organisation locally and in virtual forums.Support presentations and outreach activities to raise awareness of Safehands services.General DutiesUphold the Safehands Live-in Care Ltd Code of Conduct and core values.Ensure compliance with health and safety and data protection regulations.Promote dignity, independence, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required by management.About YouEmpathetic, professional, and highly organised.Proven experience in UK home care or healthcare administration is essential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Confident managing multiple priorities and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.IT proficient, with experience using care management systems such as Webroster (or similar).Strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality principles.A collaborative and proactive team player who values fairness and emotional intelligence.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a UK-based health or social care administrative role.Knowledge of CQC compliance and UK domiciliary care standards.Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Administration, or a related discipline (desirable).Salary: Competitive, based on experienceStart Date: Immediate / As soon as possibleApplication Deadline: 30 November 2025How to ApplyPlease send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience to: 📧 shadreck@safehandsliveincare.co.uk Use the subject line: Healthcare Administrator – Remote (Zimbabwe)
