As a Home Finance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals and families secure the right home loan solutions.At MyState, we believe banking should be simple, personal, and built around our customers’ goals. As a Home Finance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals and families secure the right home loan solutions, providing expert guidance and a seamless experience from application through to settlement.This role is all about understanding our customers’ needs and helping them navigate the home lending process with confidence. You’ll manage a range of application types and will primarily focus on principle increases for our existing customers ensuring every interaction is tailored, transparent, and supportiveYou’ll work closely with internal teams, Credit, Operations, and Settlements; to deliver timely outcomes and maintain strong relationships across the business. Your focus will be on retention and growth, helping customers stay with MyState by offering solutions that truly meet their needs.We are looking for someone across the state to work from Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.We’re looking for someone who:Has at least five years’ experience in home lending or finance.Brings strong communication and relationship-building skills.Is proactive, organised, and confident in making independent decisions.Understands the regulatory environment and is committed to compliance.Holds (or can obtain) a DLA Level 2 and Cert IV in a relevant credit qualification.Tertiary qualifications are a plus, but what really matters is your drive, initiative, and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.At MyState, we’re proud to be part of a growing group that includes MyState Bank, Auswide Bank, SelfCo, and TPT Wealth.
