Hotel Manager - Melia Vinpearl Cam Ranh Beach Resort

We are looking for Hotel Manager - Melia Vinpearl Cam Ranh Beach Resort (Vietnam)Mission:A Hotel Manager is responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel, to ensure Operational Heads of Department achieve and exceed their Revenue, Quality, Staff satisfaction and Guest satisfaction targets at Melia Vinpearl Cam Ranh Beach Resort.Main responsibilities:Operation:Responsible for actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment)Assist the development of achievable hotel budgets and other short and long-term hotel strategic goalsProvide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceededRespond to audits that are completed by the company or external ones, to ensure continual improvement is achievedPlan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations. Comply and exceed hotel and company Service StandardsEnsure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analyzed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action to rectify where neededCoach and develop the Heads of Department reporting to him/her, through objective setting and personal development, to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and companyHold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD teamCommunicates a clear and consistent message regarding operational goals to produce desired results on a continuous basis.Ensures brand and regional business initiatives are implemented and communicates follow-up actions to team as necessary.Ensures core elements of the service strategy are in place to produce the desired results.PerformanceResponsible for creating, analyzing and managing P&L, ensuring the achievement of the KPIs in the budget or forecast for the Melia Vinpearl Cam Ranh Beach Resort. Through activities such as:Direct cost controlCreation of accurate cost breakdownsControl of wastage and food waste managementPersonnel cost optimizationRevenue control and optimizationAnalysis of revenues and products soldRegular Business ReviewsCreation of the annual CAPEX requirementsCreation of the annual OPEX requirementsMain requirements:University degree, preferably Tourism or Hospitality, or similar.Excellent English skill in both writing and speakingAt least 3-5 years in same positions in International sizeDevelopment of management tools and processes, as well as improvement of KPIs.Ability to produce the budget definition.Knowledge of hotel operations.Excellent communication skills.Problem-solving skills.Ability to lead a team.
