We aim to inspire good will, positivity, and helpfulness in our teammates, guests, and local neighborhoods.If you have ever aspired to help manage a hotel and meet people from all over the world, you may be a great fit for our team!We are currently hiring for immediate start as well as positions starting April 2025.As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the following tasks:Manage the operations of a licensed hotelRespond to day-to-day guest requests, issues and other inquiries with knowledgeable assistance and adviceKeep lobby and public areas in clean and orderly conditionHelp maintain a high level of cleanliness and comfort in our guest rooms by performing housekeeping quality inspections and inventory checksAssist with inventory control to ensure sufficient stock of guest amenities and operating suppliesCommunicate effectively with guests and partner companies both verbally and digitallyEnsure that the guests have seamless, high-quality in-stay experiencesEngage with guests and surrounding neighbors professionally and establish a harmonious relationship to ensure that properties are well-perceived and accepted by those around usTake on additional responsibilities related to operations, as assignedRequirementsProficiency in written and spoken English (all operations manuals/internal communications are in English)Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese (able to do phone calls in Japanese) Knowledge of other languages is a plusProficiency with technology and a familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft OfficeMust be living in Japan with a valid visa/working status (eg. student/humanities/instructor etc.)Characteristics of a successful candidateBoth a self-starter and team player, able to work reliably in a team setting and confidently on your ownTidy and organized with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness, in both physical and digital spacesA fast learner of new websites/software/technologyLoves helping and engaging with people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and lifestylesEager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry with guest-centric and positive mindsetComfort with ambiguity and rapidly shifting prioritiesFlexible schedule and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysExcited by the prospect of joining a rapidly growing hospitality brand!Hours and frequency of workShift types:9 hour shift (8 hours paid, 1 hour break)11 hour overnight shift (8 hours paid, 1 hour break, 2 hours paid standby, rest area provided)Full-time day positions are required to serve overnight shifts as wellFull-time overnight positions availableWork LocationSection L Ginza EastSection L Asakusa EastSection L HatchoboriSection L HamamatsuchoResidence GinzaSection L KuramaeSection L YushimaSection L TsukijiSection L Ueno HirokojiSection L Shimbashi WestAbout Section LSection L was established in 2020 by a team of seasoned hoteliers in Tokyo.
