General ResponsibilitiesDaily inspection of the heart of the house areasCoordinating the preventive maintenance schedule of the sameDemonstrates pride in the workplace with a high level of commitment towards achieving organizational objectivesConsistently treats all colleagues in a polite, helpful and courteous mannerHandle all calls using appropriate telephonic etiquettesHave in-depth knowledge of our product and competitorsActively participate in organized meetingsInteract with department and resort staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communicationSpecific ResponsibilitiesInterview Line AssociatesLiaison with recruitment agencies and hotel schoolsManage the on-line recruitment through the Resorts Web SiteCorrect and timely placement of internal and external advertisementsBe able to understand and help the HR Manager to abide by all Government laws relating to the Associate divisionCompiling payroll / Absence data.Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficientlyCollecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll informationCompiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on thisManage HR administration such as contracts, letters, and personnel filesFull usage of HR System including running of Payroll, Statutory, Change of Status Requests and other amendments as required that are for HRD Approval.Assists the HR manager in Budget preparation where required and is fully aware of all Budgeted Positions and hiring approvals.Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and keep up to date with changes to local authorities.Ensures confidentiality is maintained at all times and provides information only to those with a need to know.Collect and maintain daily, weekly or monthly attendancePrepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll softwareConduct exit interviews and provide feedback on reasons for turnoverAdherence to pre, during and post-employment checklistsEnsure Staff and Manager awareness of HR Policies and proceduresAdministering recruitment, medical check-up and briefing new recruits on medical insurance scheme and fingerprintingObtaining a new ID number for new employees and training them on the use of the fingerprinting registration machine.Page | 7Liaise with the Talent Management team for completing the cycle of recruitment, induction, training & developmentCoordinate with Talent management Team for the mandatory pieces of training such as First Aid Courses & Fire FightingInitiate programs that foster good work relations such as social club and consultative committees etc.Provides input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelinesCoaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performanceRegularly communicates with staff and maintains good relationsHandling staff benefit implementation process such as maternity allowance, optical, condolence allowance and deliver flower or fruit basket to hospitalized staffRegistering new employees and additional participants into the medical insurance scheme, including reimbursing medical expenses incurred by employeesConducting training regarding medical facilities (insurance/house clinic) matter to create staff understandingOrganizing employees activities such as sport, birthdays, an employee of the month and othersManaging the employee's cafeteria together with the cafeteria committee monitoring the quality of food and cyclic menu, and conducting a monthly meeting with the committeeUpdating employees rosters in the payroll system and prints out the record of fingerprint in order to provide attendance information to report to the Accounting DepartmentConducting Reference Check for certain positionIssuing an Annual Leave Outstanding reported to Department HeadsOther task or duties as may be appropriately assigned by the HR ManagerStatutory ComplianceEnsure Statutory Compliance through coordination with Branches, HR Ops teami) Liasoning with required statutory authorities or as directedii) Responding to various Notices from Authorities ensuring closure on the gapsAnalysis of trends in Compliance and device corresponding action planAudit of PF and other vendors on Statutory Compliance.
