Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Employee Relations function, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.Drive the resourcing and talent acquisition agenda to attract and retain high-performing staff.Champion employee engagement initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration and performance.Oversee policy compliance, record management, and HR administration in line with best practices.Coordinate and deliver Learning & Development programs that build capability and support succession planning.Promote and monitor Health, Safety, and Wellness programs in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to enhance service delivery across the region.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsA Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.Minimum five (5) years’ experience in an HR practitioner or business partner role.Proven experience working within a labour-intensive and unionised environment is an added advantage.Strong financial acumen and ability to manage HR budgets effectively.Demonstrated success in large-scale recruitment campaigns.Excellent knowledge of Malawi Labour Legislation, HR policies, systems, and procedures.Strong leadership, conflict management, and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to deliver strategic objectives, drive change, and foster teamwork.High attention to detail, integrity, and strong computer literacy.
