The VacancyHR Business PartnerSalary Circa £50,000 (depending on experience) + Excellent BenefitsHybrid working – Minimum of 1 day per week at one of our offices in: Chester, Glasgow or RedhillThis is a Fixed Term Maternity Cover contract for 14 Months Binnies is excited to offer a HR Business Partner role within our HR team, which supports over 750 employees across the UK in the Water and Environmental sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, growing business dedicated to nurturing our greatest asset — our people. The role focuses on supporting our Delivery department, particularly in engineering and construction, with an oversight of other departments including Asset Management and Binnies Australia.This hybrid position offers a blend of home and office working, with flexible working options available. Benefits include a Contributory Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Income Protection, Life Assurance, and a flexible benefits programme with the option to purchase additional holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the HR team, you will provide vital HR support to our Delivery business, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service. Your focus will include:Collaborating with the HR team, Delivery Director, and key stakeholders to execute the people plan aligned with our Binnies1000 growth strategy, offering insight and guidance on strategic people matters.Managing day-to-day HR operations proactively, supporting the business with employee relations cases, absence management, payroll, IR35 compliance and reporting.Participating in Delivery Leadership Team meetings, both virtually and in person, to contribute HR expertise.Demonstrating visible leadership to foster the Binnies Engaged culture by upholding values and behaviours that attract, develop, and retain talent while promoting health, safety, and wellbeing.Building and sustaining strong relationships with business leaders, engaging regularly with employees, and representing HR at Delivery cascades and similar events.Leading, managing, and developing assigned HR team members effectively.Essential RequirementsFully CIPD Qualified at level 5 or 7, or equivalent HR qualification/experienceExperience of developing and implementing HR initiativesExperience of working in a busy professional services environmentStrong attention to detail with excellent reporting and data analysis skillsDesirable RequirementsExperience in an engineering and/or construction environmentProject management capabilitiesExperience of leading and managing teamsAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholdersAbility to communicate confidently both written & orally at all levelsAbout UsWe develop intelligent solutions using our award-winning integrated planning and design approach to deliver functional infrastructure and lasting environmental and social legacies.
