HRBP enables leadership potential and alignment opportunities by optimizing organizational design, providing line of sight into business and customer needs, and providing coaching and multiple perspectives HRBP consults with the senior leadership and site leadership team and promote leadership development programs, talent and performance management programs, processes, and systems to enable organizations to acquire, reward and retain, develop, or redeploy high performing team members. HRBP is expected to champion initiatives that support DHL Supply Chain Japan culture, behaviors, and engagement goals and provide comprehensive communication and change management.ResponsibilitiesActs as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unitProvide HR advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of strategic and operational human resources issuesAdvise managers and staff on issues of employment legislationActively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risksRecruits talents for Business Sector, Site Management.Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employeesActs as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people managementDesigns succession plans for key talents and key job positionsPartner with Business Sector Senior Leadership/Site Leadership to Develop Leadership and Organizational Strategies, Methods, and ProcessesAssist to develop strategies that enable leadership potential and attain organizational objectivesProvide coaching, influence, and multiple perspectives to prepare leaders for crucial or difficult conversationsSupport and develop workforce planning processesAssist to develop and define labor productivity initiatives and workforce optimization activitiesAssist to analyze needs to achieve current and future business objectivesIdentify talent and capability gaps and solutionsDefine and align retention strategies, methods, and processes to identify and retain key talentWork with senior leadership/site managers on succession planning and the talent pipelineSupport leaders to identify development opportunities for key contributors and high potential talent including job rotations and assignments, as well as define plans for low performersRequirementsEssential6+ years of experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations or related fieldsSolid communication skills, people management, analytical skills and critical thinkingNative Japanese and Business level of EnglishProven ability in data analysis, coaching and organizational developmentAbility to support prioritization based on business needs and HR plansKnowledge of HR policies and practice with demonstrated experience in the areas of employee relations, performance management, talent management, labor law, HR indicators and management of an HR organization.Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and implementing continuous improvement through analyzing defined HR metricsDemonstrated ability to partner with the leadership team to identify, assess, select, reward and develop talent to meet current and future demandsDemonstrated ability to work with leaders and employees at all levelsWelcomeExperience of working in matrix reporting organizationsAbility to coach, advise and influence senior leaders on people strategies to achieve positive business outcomeAbility to develop and implement engagement activities.Knowledge of Logistics businessBachelors Degree or equivalent in Human Relations, Human Resource Management or Related field of studyC&B background is a plus
