Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and SLMC in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.Key Functions:Assists Associate Director and HR Department Managers in handling all aspects of Human Resources; Administers various HR plans and procedures for all associates; Collaboration with Functional Group Heads/Department Managers to develop and direct an HR agenda that relatively supports group’s and organizational goals; Engages in strategic human resource/talent management for the business; Acts as Change Agent to functional groups through process design and approaches that support change and transformation – striving to lead mutual processes to the best practice of functional groups’ status;Conducts weekly meetings/as needed with respective functional groups;Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies;Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations;Maintains in-depth knowledge of labor requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Coordinated with the ELRD as needed/required;Provide guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution;Works closely with the designated functional groups and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention;
