Great and passionate people who collaborate, support and complement each other's skills.We are one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines, with special relevance in the Spanish domestic market, as well as in France and Italy.Job PurposeProvide operational and strategic support to mid-level management within the Operations division, in alignment with company HR policies and guidelines, to ensure consistent application of people management strategies and seamless implementation of organisational initiatives, ultimately fostering an efficient and supportive work environment.Main Accountabilities Facilitate accurate and consistent application of HR policies, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and minimizing HR-related issues.Ensure efficient handling of HR issues by resolving day-today challenges promptly and referring complex cases to higher levels as necessary, thereby maintaining operational continuity.Ensure that recruitment strategies align with organisational goals, participating in the final selection stages and supporting the team in meeting staffing needs effectively.Ensure all training and evaluation processes are executed consistently and accurately, fostering skill development and alignment with company standards.Support budget and headcount adherence, ensuring operational areas remain within staffing and financial limits while meeting organisational goals.Support continual HR process improvement by integrating strategic feedback, thereby contributing to the development and adaptation of HR practices in the Operations area.Ensure that all mid-management personnel adhere to HR policies and guidelines, fostering a unified HR approach across departments.Ensure that salary benchmarks and market conditions align with recruitment and retention strategies, helping to maintain competitiveness within the industry.Address individual employee issues professionally and in alignment with company policy, ensuring smooth resolution of sensitive HR cases.Main Responsibilities - TasksSupport mid-level managers in implementing HR policies and processes tailored to their specific team needs.Act as an internal consultant on people management matters for mid-level management in the Operations area.Oversee and coordinate the recruitment process within the Operations area, liaising with external providers for specialist roles.Support the coordination and implementation of training and performance evaluation initiatives within the Operations area.Assist in strategic headcount and organisational planning by maintaining alignment with HR and budget constraints.Implement feedback from senior HR and organisational leaders, continuously improving people management and aligning with broader company initiatives.Facilitate and monitor compliance with companywide HR guidelines within the Operations area.Act as a primary liaison between the Operations area and HR’s Compensation and Benefits department for market studies and salary benchmarking.Oversee individual labour relations, including handling grievances, dismissals, and specific work agreements.Main RelationshipsOperations Management: Provides HR support and consultation on people management issues, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Recruitment Services: Coordinates recruitment processes, especially for mid-level managers, to secure high-quality candidates.Compensation and Benefits Department: Collaborates on market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and fair compensation structures.Training Providers: Engages with external training providers to facilitate skills development and ensure training initiatives meet company standards.Labour Relations: Collaborates on complex employee relations issues, especially involving crew management, to address matters outside standard HR policy.Corporate HR: Works with corporate HR to implement people management policies and ensure compliance within the Operations area.Headhunters and Recruitment Agencies: Engages with third-party agencies for high-level recruitment needs when internal resources are insufficient.Line Managers and Directors in Operations: Provides direct HR support, guidance, and implementation of HR processes, acting as the primary point of HR contact.EducationBachelor’s degree in fields such as Psychology, Labour Relations, Business Administration, Economics or related.Background in employment law or labour relations would be well-suited.Proficiency in navigating company policies, especially regarding labour relations andunion interactions is important.ExperienceMinimum 2-3 years in a similar HR role is required with a focus onmid-level managerial support.Direct exposure to at least 2 HR areas (such as Talent Development, Recruitment, Performance, Compensation, or Employee Relations) is ideal.Experience leading cross-functional projects related to organizational structure, change management, transformation or strategic planning is highly desirable.CompetenciesAssertive CommunicationTeam workInitiativeChange managementStrategic PlanningNegotiationInfluenceLanguagesEnglish B2Spanish C1LocationBarcelona, Viladecans -
