Stellantis is hiring for the HR Generalist position to provide support for all talent acquisition, performance management, employment administration, and talent development related functions at the Windsor Assembly Plant in the manufacturing setting. Full time and contract positions available.Main responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, management of appraisal cycles, reporting and analytics for HR initiatives, headcount and manpower tracking, administration of all employment status changes and leave programs in accordance with company policy and union contracts, and in compliance with employment legislation.The HR Generalist is the first point of contact for questions and concerns providing guidance and assistance to employees and the management team regarding HR policies and procedures, employment related matters, and employee engagement initiatives.Key Areas Of ResponsibilitySupporting all hiring and onboarding of hourly, salary, and skilled trades employees to meet Operational requirementsConducting interviews and pre-hire assessmentsData entry and workflow administration in Company HRIS systemStatus changes including leave tracking, retirement, termination administrationInterpreting and administering collective agreementsProjects and assignments dedicated to diversity, inclusion and engagementTraining, learning, and people development programsProviding support for labour relations and collective bargainingFCA Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodation for people with accessibility needs due to disabilities in all aspects of the hiring process. If you request an accommodation, we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs due to disability.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degreeStrong interest in expanding your career and growing as a Human Resources professionalMinimum 18 months post graduate experience in the Human Resources fieldInterest working in an automotive manufacturing environmentExcellent communication, team building and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational, attention to detail, and record keeping skillsHighly proficient with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systemsLegally eligible to work in CanadaPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related fieldStrong project management and analytical skillsPrior human resources or labour relations experience in a unionized environmentPrior direct experience in talent acquisition, performance management, or labour relationsWorking knowledge of employment laws and regulations including: Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act and the Occupational Health and Safety ActAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
