About The RoleWe're seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of our people function.This is a 6-month contract offering exposure to both operational and strategic HR initiatives. The role supports the Venture Studio projects at Ergonia Labs, partnering closely with the Head of HR, Finance, Legal & Operations to enable our teams to scale efficiently and compliantly.RequirementsPayroll & Benefits AdministrationManage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full statutory compliancePrepare and reconcile monthly and annual payroll reportsPartner with Finance on payroll reporting as requiredHR Operations & Employee LifecycleMaintain HRIS data integrity and manage all employee records and documentationCoordinate recruitment logistics, onboarding, and offboarding activitiesSupport performance management cycles, including goal-setting, reviews, and feedback trackingOversee benefits administration — enrolment, changes, and renewalsProvide day-to-day HR operational support to employees and managers, ensuring smooth delivery of HR servicesCompliance & ReportingEnsure HR and payroll practices comply with local employment laws and internal policiesPrepare statutory filings and support external audits or compliance reviewsProtect and maintain the confidentiality of employee information and HR dataVenture Studio & Incubator SupportPartner with the Head of HR to implement HR frameworks for new venture teams within the incubatorSupport full-cycle recruitment for new projects — from job design to onboardingHelp establish and administer benefits and HR systems for newly launched teamsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of experience in HR operations, including payroll managementStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsExceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred:Proven HR Generalist experience within a startup, scale-up, or fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with HRIS platforms such as Deel (or similar)A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in building scalable people operationsBenefitsCompetitive Salary
