The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions and ensure smooth, efficient operations across the bakerys branches and commissary. This role is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and labor compliance. The HR Manager will regularly visit store branches to check on employee well-being, support operations, and reinforce company standards.Key Responsibilities Recruitment & StaffingLead end-to-end recruitment for store personnel, bakers, production staff, and office roles.Build and maintain a talent pipeline for high-volume and urgent positions.Conduct interviews, screenings, and onboarding processes. Employee Relations & Well-BeingHandle employee concerns and resolve workplace issues professionally.Conduct regular fieldwork/branch visits to assess employee well-being, check working conditions, and strengthen employee engagement.Implement programs that promote positive work culture and team morale across branches and the commissary. Training & DevelopmentDevelop and implement training programs for store staff, production teams, and supervisors (customer service, product knowledge, food safety, etc.).Partner with operations and production leaders to identify training needs. Performance ManagementImplement KPI and performance review systems for store and production staff.Guide supervisors in handling performance concerns. Compensation & BenefitsOversee payroll coordination, attendance monitoring, and timekeeping accuracy.Ensure accurate processing of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government-mandated benefits.Maintain complete and updated employee records. Compliance & Company PoliciesEnsure HR practices comply with DOLE and local labor standards.Update policies, handbooks, and HR procedures as needed.Handle incident reports and disciplinary actions. HR OperationsPrepare HR reports, manpower plans, and analytics for management.Support organizational development and HR strategic initiatives.Ensure workplace safety standards are followed in branches and commissary.QualificationsBachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related course.35 years of HR experience, preferably in F&B, retail, hospitality, or manufacturing.Experience handling multisite operations or branches is an advantage.Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; comfortable working in fast-paced environments.Proficient in HRIS, MS Office, and digital HR tools.Experience in payroll, timekeeping, and government benefits processing.With leadership qualities and the ability to work closely with supervisors and store managers.Willing to do regular fieldwork and visit branches to check on employee well-being and operational needs.
