Our solutions assist businesses in lowering labor costs, enhancing efficiency, and improving safety outcomes.About the RoleThe HR Manager / HR Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the company’s Japan operations through comprehensive human resources management and administrative support. This position will oversee recruitment, payroll and benefits, employee relations, and office administration, while aligning local HR practices with headquarters’ global standards. The role requires a proactive, culturally adept professional who can effectively bridge communication between Japan operations and headquarters teams in China.ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition Lead recruitment activities for sales, software development, application engineering, and after-sales service positions in Japan.Manage full-cycle hiring processes including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide hiring recommendations.HR Operations & Employee Relations Manage payroll, benefits, and HR compliance in accordance with local labor laws.Handle employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.Maintain accurate HR records and ensure proper documentation for all employment activities.Performance Management Support the General Manager in setting annual work targets and performance evaluations for employees.Ensure performance management practices align with headquarters’ requirements and standards.Office Administration Oversee administrative functions including office leasing, utilities, renovation, and vendor management.Maintain efficient office operations and ensure a safe and productive work environment.Cross-Border CollaborationServe as liaison between the Japan office and headquarters’ HR, Finance, and Sales Operations teams.Facilitate communication, reporting, and coordination to ensure consistency and alignment across regions.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5–10 years of HR experience with progressive responsibility in generalist or HRBP roles.Required SkillsLanguage & Communication Language: Native-level Japanese required; Chinese proficiency preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-cultural awareness.Candidates of Chinese nationality with fluent Japanese and significant experience working in Japanese companies are also encouraged to apply.Employment Law & Business AcumenProven experience managing recruitment, payroll, and HR compliance in Japan.Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and HR best practices.Soft Skills & Work EthicHigh degree of initiative, accountability, and driveExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsAble to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment```
