Be part of a movement shaping the future of cannabis - safely and responsibly.We're looking for a passionate and detail-driven Health & Safety (HSE) Officer to ensure our teams, patients, and partners thrive in a workplace that prioritises wellbeing, compliance, and excellence.This role is full-time, based on-site at our Setubal facility.About The RoleAs an HSE Officer at Curaleaf International, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies across our facilities and operations. You'll ensure that every process - from cultivation to clinical service - meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.Duties will include, but not be limited to: Developing and executing workplace health and safety plans in accordance with legal and Curaleaf standards Preparing and enforcing policies to foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits to evaluate compliance across laboratories, clinics, and production facilities Delivering engaging training and awareness programmes on workplace safety and accident prevention Leading investigations into accidents and near-miss incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending preventive actions Maintaining and communicating up-to-date Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Keeping abreast of legislation, standards, and best practices, and advising management on required updates or changes Monitoring compliance with waste management regulations Maintaining key HSE metrics and producing regular reports for leadership reviewAbout YouYou're driven by excellence, inspired by innovation, and passionate about creating safe, compliant workplaces.
