HSE Engineer

JASARA PMC is looking for an experienced and highly motivated HSE Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards to create a safe working environment for all employees.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures that comply with regulationsConduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actionsInvestigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and improve safety practicesProvide training and support to employees on occupational health and safety practicesMaintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, incidents, and safety-related training sessionsMonitor and review changes in health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practicesCollaborate with project managers to promote a safe work culture across all operationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, particularly in the construction industryThorough knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and influence stakeholdersDetail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safetyProfessional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are highly desirable
