Supervisor Carpentry - KSA

At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.Under the guidance of the Head of the Production, the Supervisor – will oversee the entire production, build up and dismantling for all Events and Exhibitions.Main AccountabilitiesTo take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of workers, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.Planning of Manpower for production, buildup and dismantling.To assign the work for a team leader and team Incharge and coordinate with team leader of steel and paint of their SOW. Ensure that carpentry steel and paint, follow the schedule of fabrication, build up and logistic requirements To ensure that production is done by following standard method of production.Ensure that production has proper machines, equipment, bits, blades etc. .to perform the taskTo take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the company's quality systems, processes and procedures.Manage, develop and motivate direct workers. Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issue. To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of team.To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy.Problem solving, troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems.To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift To have an active role in the company's continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the companyMaintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplaceKnowledge & ExperienceNumber of years of Experience:8 years and above Experience as a Sr. team leader or Supervisor in events and exhibitionsCertificationEducation:+2 or aboveLanguagesEnglish and HindiSystemsBasic computer knowledge, Word, ExcelAuto CAD knowledgeSketch up KnowledgeTechnical & Functional SkillsShould have knowledge in Drawings, joinery, fit-out, and wood material. Should have knowledge in production and projectsAble to understand technical drawings and follow the set standard production methodsMust have technical knowledge and knowledge of tools and machinery used in carpentryEnsuring that the work space is kept clean and all team tools and team machinery are in condition.Researching and Training the team leaders and Team in charges in new production methods and ensuring that its followed.Other Skills And CompetenciesInteracting with the workers and motivating them to complete their tasks.Must be flexible, proactive and have a positive attitude.Must approach a problem calmly and find efficient solutions Must be flexible and ready to accept change as per the company requirementsEffective time managementGeneral Obligations towards Health, Safety and Environment You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company. You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company. You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
