We’re looking for a dynamic HR People Partner to support our North American team and help us build an engaged, high-performing workforce.The OpportunityAs HR People Partner – Rip Curl, you’ll be the go-to HR expert for our U.S. operations, providing strategic and operational support across the employee lifecycle. You’ll build trusted relationships with managers and team members, offering guidance on everything from employee relations to onboarding, performance, and development. You’ll also play a key role in embedding our values and enhancing the employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee RelationsProvide expert advice on ER matters, ensuring compliance and fairnessConduct investigations and produce high-quality documentationSupport managers and escalate complex cases as neededOnboarding & OffboardingOwn recruitment for select roles and support hiring managersManage onboarding logistics and ensure a smooth Day 1 experienceOversee offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and ensure data accuracyOrganisational DevelopmentChampion development programs and facilitate trainingSupport succession planning, capability building, and wellbeing initiativesPerformance ManagementGuide managers through performance reviews and improvement plansMonitor compliance and support high-potential talent identificationAnnual HR ProcessesSupport key HR cycles including salary reviews, engagement surveys, and succession planningEnsure timely communication and education for managersEnvironmental Governance & Sustainability (ESG)Promote health, safety, and wellbeing across the businessEnsure compliance with BCorp HR requirementsGeneral HR SupportPrepare accurate documentation and advise Payroll of employee changesCollaborate with the wider People team to ensure consistency and alignmentWhat You’ll Bring✅Qualification in Human Resources or related field✅ Experience in an HR advisory or generalist role✅ Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills✅ Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure✅ High level of confidentiality and professionalism✅ Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platformsWhy Rip Curl?This is your chance to work with a globally recognized brand that values adventure, authenticity, and innovation.
