Summary of the Role:The HR Business Partner (Total Reward, Employee Relations and labor compliance) is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals by managing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting fair and effective employee relations.What You'll Do:You will manage salary structures, merit increases, incentives, and benefits administration, including payroll for both employees and contractors.You will oversee headcount and labor cost management, ensuring strategic workforce planning.You will administer pension plans and manage contracts for contractors, including those nearing retirement.You will regularly review and update HR policies to keep them compliant and competitive, making sure your organization stays ahead of the curve.You will be the key liaison with the union, handling daily interactions, resolving issues, and leading annual negotiations with confidence and diplomacy.You will coordinate occupational health programs to support employee well-being.You will ensure accurate and seamless management of HR data—from onboarding to offboarding—because you know that every detail matters.You will lead internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with tax and labor regulations.What We're Looking ForYou must have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or any related field. You must have at least 8 years of experience in HR function, with 5 years payroll specialist at a multinational company.You must have experience of payroll, tax, social benefits and Expats.You must have a very good understanding of C&B, payroll, Japanese labour law and Income Tax.You must have a good business acumen & possess basic financial knowledge.You must be a good team worker with leadership potentialYou must have very good interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal/external contactsYou must have very good communication skills in English in a Business level. Your experience with collective bargaining process would be plus.Your experience with labor cases would be plus.
