The HR Generalist over sees licensing, credentialing and privileging for our health care, dental, behavioral health and social services providers. The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day HR administrative process and function at AHCH. This position reports to the HR Coordinator and helps the dynamic AHCH HR team to provide comprehensive human resources support to over 100 employees.Duties And ResponsibilitiesOversee licensing, credentialing, and privileging processMay attend interviews as neededAdminister employee benefitsMaintain employee filesSchedule meetings and interviewsAssist Human Resources Coordinator and Chief Human Resources Officer with trainingsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulationsProvide oversight of employee benefits enrollment/disenrollment processes including aspects that intersect with FinanceMust comply with AHCH policies and proceduresMaintain and oversee employee data in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy and qualityTrack and maintain staff databases outside of HRIS including training, required vaccines/medical tests, and benefits enrollmentMinimum QualificationsTwo years experience in general administrative assistance and/or human resourcesAbility to thrive in a complex non-profit healthcare settingStrong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skillsAbility to effectively communicate HR processes to employeesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePreferred QualificationsBA in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience2 years of HR-specific Generalist or Administrative work experienceExperience with clinical credentialing and privilegingSHRM or HRCI certificationAll Benefits Begin The Month After HireLow cost medical, vision, and dental insurance with health club membershipLife insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment fully paid for by organizationLong Term Disability fully paid for by organizationPaid Time Off - 24 days in first year of employmentCatastrophic Sick Time accrual7 Paid holidaysHealth Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts401k with employer matchStudent loan forgiveness eligibleWe're an equal opportunity employer.
