We are pleased to be partnering with a dynamic and fast-growing player in the Sports & Recreation industry to appoint a foundational talent for their Singapore operations. This provides a rare opportunity to be the first Human Resources (HR) hire (circa. $60k annual base) and architect of the entire people function. This is an individual contributor role based in Singapore. Job DescriptionReporting into the founders directly, this position is ideal for a hands-on and strategic individual who thrives on autonomy and is passionate about building a positive and high-performing organisational culture from the ground up.In this role, you will:End-to-End HR Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.Payroll & Compliance: Manage end-to-end payroll processing with external vendors, ensuring accurate and timely CPF submissions, income tax reporting, and strict adherence to the Singapore Employment Act.HR Strategy & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to management on all people-related matters, including policy implementation, employee relations, and strategic workforce planning.Employee Engagement: Champion initiatives that foster a vibrant, supportive, and engaging team environment.Process Excellence: Maintain impeccable HR records and continuously refine HR systems and processes to support organisational growth.The Successful CandidateHolds a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.Possesses a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR generalist experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in SMEs or dynamic, growth-oriented environments.Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and statutory requirements.Is a proactive self-starter, exceptionally organised, and capable of working independently with a high degree of integrity.Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration at all levels.What’s on OfferThis role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant and tangible impact within a respected organisation, particularly if you are a dedicated HR professional seeking a role with full ownership and strategic influence.
