This vital role encompasses a broad range of both administrative and strategic responsibilities, aimed at fostering a compliant, efficient, and people-centered workplace.As an HR Generalist, you will ensure our HR practices align with current employment laws, develop and maintain essential HR documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, facilitating initiatives that enhance our employee experience, your work will directly contribute to the supportive, high-performance environment we’re proud to offer at Filterbuy.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and disciplinary noticesCreating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and company regulationsMaintaining accurate physical and digital employee records including benefits and attendanceSupporting performance appraisal processes and updating compensation records accordinglyLeading employee engagement initiatives, including planning and budgeting for activities and recognition programsCollaborating with external vendors, internal teams, and leadership to uphold corporate social responsibility (CSR) standardsConducting disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and addressing employee grievancesEnsuring company policies align with current labor laws and regulatory requirementsSupporting recruitment and hiring efforts, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidatesRequired skills and qualifications:Strong knowledge of administrative and HR tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/payroll softwareResourceful thinker with strong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work independently and maintain confidentialityStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsHigh emotional intelligence with the ability to coach and leadAnalytical mindset with ability to use data to inform decisionsPreferred:Experience in a manufacturing or ecommerce environmentFamiliarity with Canadian labor laws and HR compliance standardsBilingual (English/French) is a plusBenefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCompany OverviewWe are a leading ecommerce company with a mission to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
