You’ll partner closely with the HR Manager (and collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders) to align talent, culture, and organization design with company goals. Prior exposure to office/operations management is a strong plus.This role is onsite (4 days office / 1 day remote) in Levent, Istanbul. Please apply only if this works for you.Responsibilities:Own the HR function: Design and execute HR strategies, policies, and annual plans aligned to business objectives.Strategic partner to leadership: Advise senior leaders on org design, workforce planning, and change management; drive cross-functional alignment on people initiatives.Talent acquisition: Lead full-cycle recruiting to attract top talent; build scalable pipelines for editorial, operations, and revenue teams.Performance & culture: Implement and manage KPI/OKR systems; run performance reviews, goal setting, calibration, and feedback cadences.People analytics: Define HR metrics and reporting; surface insights on hiring velocity, retention, engagement, and org health.Learning & development: Scope skill gaps; coordinate training programs and manager enablement.Employee experience: Foster a positive, high-accountability environment; coach managers; handle employee relations with discretion.Compensation, payroll & compliance: Manage end-to-end payroll for Turkey and US employees; ensure compliance with local labor laws and documentation standards.Onboarding & offboarding: Own orientation, probation processes, and smooth transitions.HR operations & systems: Drive efficiency across HRIS/ATS and core workflows; standardize SOPs and documentation.Operations collaboration (plus): Partner with Operations on budget awareness, resource allocation, vendor/logistics coordination, cost efficiency initiatives, and continuity during understaffed periods.Requirements:5+ years progressive HR experience (startup or digital media/publishing environment preferred).Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Journalism, or related field (MBA a plus).Fluent English (written & spoken); global experience is a plus.Strong command of Turkish labor law and HR compliance.Demonstrated success building KPI/OKR and performance systems.Full-cycle recruiting expertise and solid employee relations judgment.Excellent project management, organization, and stakeholder communication skills.Analytical, solutions-oriented mindset; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership setting.Operations experience (office management, logistics, vendor management, or cost-efficiency projects) is a strong plus.What We Offer?Competitive salary with KPI/OKR based bonuses400 TL daily meal allowance2,000 TRY monthly transportation supportWork alongside global team leaders from UK and USAPrivate health insuranceBirthday leaveFirst-year leave policy: 5 paid + 5 unpaid days offSubscription to preferred platforms ( Spotify, Netflix etc.)IE is dedicated to supporting its diverse and inclusive staff.
