Role Overview We’re seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing consulting team. This role is perfect for early-career professionals or recent graduates who are eager to build a strong foundation in HR while supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. As an HR Generalist, you’ll assist in day-to-day HR operations, contribute to client projects, and learn how to manage recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives across different industries. This position features a hybrid schedule, requiring in-person collaboration at our Louisville (Nulu) office at least three days per week. On other days, team members may work remotely. Occasional overnight travel to client sites may be expected. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, accurate and service oriented support to employee and manager inquiries Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes for multiple client teams Maintain HR records, systems, and data accuracy across HRIS platforms Help run payroll for multiple clients across different HRIS platforms Support benefits administration, employee leave tracking, and compliance documentation Help draft and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks Contribute to engagement programs, training initiatives, and performance cycles Learn to interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment regulations Participate in HR consulting projects and process improvement efforts Qualifications A hard-working team player with a service mindset and professional curiosity Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with ambiguity and learning new technology tools (HRIS, Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field Prior HR internship or work experience is helpful, but not required Interest in pursuing SHRM-CP or PHR certification (support provided) Why You’ll Love Working with Us Career Growth: Direct mentorship from senior HR leaders and real-world project exposure in multiple companies and industries Hybrid Flexibility: Collaborate in-person with the team in Nulu (Tues–Thurs) and work remotely the rest of the week with clients across the United States Meaningful Impact: Help small businesses and founders build stronger workplaces Professional Development: Opportunity for increased scope and larger roles as the company grows Supportive Culture: Inclusive, collaborative, and people-first
