Job Title: Human Resources ManagerLocation: Taguig CityIndustry: Construction / EngineeringEmployment Type: Full-Time, OnsiteJob SummaryWe are looking for a results-driven and people-oriented Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions for our growing construction company. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the overall organizational goals through effective talent and people management.This role requires a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and labor compliance, ideally within the construction or project-based industries.Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & OperationsDevelop, implement, and manage HR policies and programs aligned with company goals.Provide strategic advice to management on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent development.Oversee end-to-end HR operations and ensure alignment with company objectives.2. Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionLead full-cycle recruitment for project-based and office roles—from job posting to onboarding.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled workers, engineers, and administrative staff.Partner with department heads to identify manpower needs and optimize recruitment timelines.3. Employee Relations & EngagementFoster a positive work culture that promotes open communication and employee engagement.Manage employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions with fairness and consistency.Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition programs.4. Performance Management & TrainingImplement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on employee development plans.Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.Support management in driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.5. Compensation, Benefits & ComplianceOversee payroll administration, timekeeping, and benefits management in coordination with accounting.Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations, labor standards, and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).Maintain HR records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with company and legal standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.At least 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
