Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Human Resources Manager for multiple locations in Japan. Responsibilities include developing HR policies, implementing employee onboarding programs, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The Human Resources Manager will oversee performance appraisals, employee engagement initiatives, and learning & development activities, as well as maintain effective communication between management and staff. This role also involves analyzing HR metrics to foster strategic decision-making within the organization. Reporting to the City Head as part of the Senior Management Team, the Human Resources Manager is a seasoned professional who maintains strict confidentiality and handles sensitive concerns with utmost care and integrity. Qualifications Strong expertise in Recruitment, Onboarding, and Talent AcquisitionMinimum two years of leadership and 3 years of Human Resources experience.Proficiency in Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Engagement ProgramsKnowledge of Compliance, Labor Laws, and Organizational DevelopmentSkills in Strategic HR Planning, Workforce Metrics Analysis, and Policy DevelopmentEffective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience in a multicultural or global corporate environment is a plusBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldFluency in English; proficiency in Japanese or other relevant languages is advantageous
