Position: Human Resources Manager – Bolivia📍 Location: La Paz📢 Reports to the HR Director for the Region At ZTE Bolivia, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function in La Paz. This is a key role with both strategic and operational responsibilities, focused on compliance, talent management, and employee support.💼 Key ResponsibilitiesLead, plan, and oversee the execution of HR activities in coordination with the local team to ensure the proper functioning of the HR department.Maintain updated relationships with government labor institutions to obtain solvency certificates and reduce labor-related risks.Design and coordinate HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, and present HR trends and action plans to leadership.Support core business activities by providing staffing, benefit implementation, and HR consulting to managers.Ensure all HR processes (payroll, contracts, compliance) follow company policies and current labor legislation in Bolivia.Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction processes to attract and retain top talent.Maintain close communication with all staff, resolving concerns and involving legal support when required.Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees and local institutions.Supervise the generation and accuracy of HR documentation (payroll, reports, files, records).Monitor changes in labor law, the job market, and HR trends to update internal processes accordingly.Support other departments with HR needs such as hiring, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary matters.Lead the performance management process to inform decisions related to promotions, bonuses, or terminations.🎓 QualificationsDegree in Human Resources, Psychology, Labor Relations, or related fields.At least 4 years of experience in HR leadership roles, ideally within multinational companies in technology, telecommunications, or engineering.Strong understanding of Bolivian labor regulations and HR best practices.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both strategically and hands-on.
