Human Resources Officer (Global Auto Co)

HR Officer for Global Automotive Head Office / Edenvale / Up to 34k pm plus 13th/ Must have recruitment, bargaining council and Sage software experience / AA preferred We are representing the Head Office of a successful, stable and growing Auto Manufacturer in Johannesburg. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Human Resource Officer to join this company with a progressive and positive work culture. If you have recruitment, bargaining council and Sage software experience and also want to learn the full ambit of HR, this role may be ideal for you. You will support the Assistant HR Manager in delivering efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR services across recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, performance management, training, payroll support, and reporting.Key focus areas include:• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes• Supporting employee relations and disciplinary matters in line with labour legislation• Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data• Managing MIBCO administration, memberships, and levies• Facilitating performance review cycles and improvement plans• Coordinating training needs analysis and development plans• Ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures• Assisting with payroll input and HR-related reportingDesired Experience and Qualifications:• HR qualification (Diploma or Degree)• Minimum 3 years’ generalist HR experience• SAGE / ESS experience essential – specifically Sage People 300• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices• Experience with MIBCO or Bargaining Councils• Experience with Merseta (workplace skills plans and annual training reports) • Valid driver’s licenceWhile not a pre-requisite, this role would suit someone who ideally worked for some of the following car companies: AMH, Audi, BCS, Bidvest Automotive, BMW, Equal Careers, FCA, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, GM, Haval, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Imperial Technical Training, Jaguar, KIA, Landrover, Mahindra, Mazda, McCarthys, Mini South Africa, Mercedes-Benz, Merseta, Mitsubishi, Motus Technical Academy, Movery BMW, MSXI, Nissan, any OEM, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Sewells, Sizanani, Subaru, Suzuki, Tata, Tti Global, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagen \ VWGood luck!
