Human Resources Specialist (Data Engineer) - 1 Year Contract

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our HR Analytics team, where you will have the opportunity to assist with reporting, analytics, and automation tasks during our transition to a new HR system. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about people and data, and eager to gain hands-on experience in continuous improvement and applying analytics to the human resources domain.ResponsibilitiesProject Management (40%): Support data engineering initiativesSupport the development of generative AI solutions to approved use casesSoftware/ Data Engineering (40%): Maintain and enhance existing automation routines and scripts.Build new automation routines, databases, or tools that will support data and reporting operations.Review and standardise data structure and syntaxes used.Data Analytics (10%): Support data operations including data ingestion, extraction, report compilation, and dashboard building. Ensure data quality and compliance with data governance policies.Others (10%): Support ad-hoc projects as required. Qualifications 1 year of related experience in data analytics/engineering. Fresh graduate may apply.A degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent is a plus.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Basic understanding of the data protection regulation and guidelines, e.g. PDPA, GDPR.Self-starter mindset with strong leadership qualities and problem-solving aptitude.Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.Basic knowledge in Python, Power BI, and/or Excel Power Query.Knowledge or interest in any of the following is a plus: RPA, Visual Basic/VBA, MS Access, SQL, Process Improvement, Statistics, HR Processes & Systems, Streamlit, Git/Bitbucket, generative AI.
