We attract ambitious individuals who operate in unique ways while upholding exceptional craftsmanship and excellence.THE ROLEThe Human Resources Specialist is a key member of the HR team, responsible for delivering high-touch employee support, owning critical HR activities, and ensuring the integrity of core systems, programs, and communications. This role supports and helps execute initiatives across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, employee onboarding, compliance, employee relations and internal engagement reporting directly into the head of HR. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive mindset to help scale and enhance the employee experience.Primary Responsibilities:Serve as first point of contact for employee inquiries related to general HR activities providing high-touch, solutions-oriented support with discretion and care.Oversee personnel data integrity and systems accuracy, including employee information, reporting, employee records, consultant tracking, and compliance documentation.Ensure timely personnel data changes and recordkeeping across multiple systems including, but not limited to promotions, supervisor changes, compensation changes, job title adjustments, etcMaintain accuracy of organizational charts and reporting structuresSupport employee onboarding and offboarding logistics in partnership with cross-functional teams (Talent Acquisition, IT, Office Operations, Finance), ensuring a seamless employee experience.Manage time attendance and liaison with payroll vendorSupport employee relations matters including but not limited to investigations and corrective action documentationSupport execution of cyclical programs such as performance management, open enrollment, engagement initiatives, and training sessions.Ensure internal communications is properly coordinated by preparing relevant internal memos, company-wide communications, and policy rollout materials.Partner with internal stakeholders on data tracking, report generation, and presentation prep for leadership and strategic HR projects.Proactively surface risks, ensure compliance, and escalate issues appropriately.Support any other ad hoc HR activitiesTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEMinimum 5 years of progressive HR experience (payroll, employee relations, operations), ideally within fashion, retail, or a creative industry environmentStrong Japanese labor law knowledge and Excel skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and discretionProven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, hands-on, and service-oriented settingEnglish reading/writing only necessary for email interactions (opportunity to communicate with Global if Business level)Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and consistent follow-throughTechnically proficient, with experience using HRIS systems, payroll platforms, Microsoft Office, and calendar management toolsCollaborative, accountable, and eager to take ownership and drive initiatives forwardWHAT WE OFFER YOUComprehensive benefits packageThom Browne Classic UniformHybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 WFH)Diverse and inclusive working environment
