Job Description

The Hunter Shore Group are delighted to have been retained to support a world leading FMCG organization as they search for a SVP of Global Supply Chain This role will report into the Chief Supply Chain Officer and oversee a large team based in our clients global head office. This role is a pivotal leadership position in an organization that is at the early stages of a global transformation and will help shape the future culture and success of the function.

ResponsibilitiesSet the strategic vision for a world-class, future-ready global supply chain that enables growth, profitability, and competitive advantage across all markets. Lead large-scale transformation of the supply chain function, driving digital innovation, sustainability, and advanced analytics to create a more agile and resilient organization. Shape culture and ways of working, fostering collaboration across regions and functions to embed a customer- and consumer-centric mindset. Partner with executive leadership to align supply chain strategy with broader corporate priorities, ensuring the function is a value-creation driver rather than a cost center.

Champion digital supply chain initiatives such as AI-driven forecasting, automation, and data-led decision-making to enhance efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness. Engage with key external partners and stakeholders (suppliers, logistics providers, regulators, and customers) to build strong, future-focused partnerships. Develop global talent and leadership capability, ensuring the supply chain organization is fit to thrive in a fast-changing environment. To Be SuccessfulVisionary leadership with a proven ability to set strategic direction and lead global transformation in complex, matrixed organizations.

Strong track record in consumer goods supply chains, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, but recognized as a strategic leader rather than an operational executor. Experience leading digital and cultural change, embedding new technologies and mindsets across a global enterprise. Board-level presence and credibility, with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner effectively with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders. Inspirational people leader who empowers teams, builds future-ready capabilities, and fosters a high-performance, inclusive culture.
