As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.Job SummaryThe Instruments and Control Maintenance Engineer in the O&M project is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of industrial systems, particularly those related to instrumentation and control system also to analyze/carry out O&M activities, to maximize the availability and reliability of equipment using, systematic/analytical approach, and to troubleshooting, failure analysis, predictive/preventive maintenance, and design improvements.. Responsible for reviewing plant engineering documents and P&ID’s, troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment, planning, organizing, integrating and direction of resources such as labor, tools and materials as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesActively manage I&C activities on site during the Maintenance of heavy-duty equipment GTs, STGs & The BOP in general, including but not limited to oversight maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosticsOverall responsibility of the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating and directing of resources such as labor, tools and materials as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirementsUnderstand PLC ladder logic, including basic understanding of how to navigate through ladder rungs while troubleshootingUnderstand and able to manage the CMMS such as Maximo and how to follow up Work Orders, Service Requests, and parts store codes purchasing process.Read and interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagramsProvide general knowledge of equipment instrumentation calibration, including various types of transmittersProvide technical expertise to customers, service support, field technicians and operatorsProvide timely and accurate internal and external reportsEnsure contractual obligations are met and attend technical meetings with CustomersEnsure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and proceduresProvide expert consultation on complex projectsProvide customers with technical direction and support on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) packaged productsTravel extensively (internationally and domestically)Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignmentsMay be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering and/or 10 years of experience with formal degree, in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment operation and maintenance.Good experience in the Control ST MarkVie control system for the GTs and STGs, troubleshooting and signals follow and trips events and found accurate issues.Good experience in DCS EMERSON OVATION control system and logic modification and troubleshooting with download and upload system.Good experience in SIEMENS PLC logic modification and troubleshooting with download and upload system.Ability to inspect spare parts and following up the material receiving with the RIR process.Ability to work more than the normal daily hours in case the emergencies.Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of turbine generator & BOP equipment and site accountabilities is required.Desired CharacteristicsExperience with Gas Turbine Driver Control Systems and Auxiliary SystemsExperience on Mark Vie and Ovation controls systems, mustAbility to understand and implement controls softwareWide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedStrong analytic, organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skillsRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsAbility to work independentlyFieldCore is an equal employment opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, ancestry, genetic information, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law
