The firm has one of the highest deal volumes in Australia and is consistently regarded as a top 2-3 ECM adviser nationwide. With a reputation for excellence, deep corporate and institutional relationships, and a track record of bringing major transactions to market, the team continues to advise on some of the most significant placements, IPOs and secondary offerings in the country. We are seeking a talented Analyst or Associate with 1.5-5 years of experience in ECM, corporate finance, or investment banking to join the high-performing team in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a rare opportunity to enter a platform with unparalleled deal flow, exposure to marquee transactions, and the chance to work at the very top of Australia’s capital markets from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport execution of ECM transactions including IPOs, placements, entitlement offers and block trades.Prepare investor materials, offer documentation and transaction presentations.Build and maintain financial models and analytical outputs supporting deal pricing, structuring and valuation.Conduct sector and market research, comparables analysis, investor mapping and capital markets benchmarking.Assist in the preparation of internal and external pitch materials and contribute to ongoing idea generation.Work closely with senior bankers on live transactions and strategic advisory projects. Associates may take on expanded responsibilities in workflow management, reviewing analysis prepared by Analysts, and greater interaction with clients and external advisers.Requirements1.5–5 years of experience in ECM, investment banking, corporate finance or a closely related field.Demonstrated interest in public markets, IPO dynamics and equity investor behaviour.Strong technical foundation in financial modelling, valuation and capital markets concepts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.Highly motivated, commercial and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.This role offersMeaningful exposure to major and high-profile ECM transactions in Australia.The opportunity to build a career within one of the country’s top-ranked ECM advisory platforms.Structured development and mentorship from senior bankers with exceptional deal experience.A collaborative environment where team members gain real responsibility early.
