This role involves overseeing the full export cycle—from documentation and regulatory compliance to logistics coordination and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, monitor performance metrics, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure efficient and profitable export operations. Export Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end export operations, including documentation, shipping, and customs clearance.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of export orders. Coordinate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth operations. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and documentation requirements. Prepare and verify export documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading. Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams (sales, procurement, finance) to ensure seamless execution of export orders. Resolve any operational or commercial issues related to exports. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and analyze export performance metrics (e. g. , on-time delivery, cost efficiency, order accuracy). Prepare regular reports on export operations and present insights to senior management. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in export processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Leverage technology and automation to streamline operations. Cost Optimization: Negotiate with logistics providers and other vendors to reduce costs. Monitor and control export-related expenses to ensure profitability. RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field. Experience: 3-4 years of experience in export operations, preferably agricultural product supply chain or logistics environment. Technical skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures. Other attributes: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
