Key Responsibilities;The role is to support the various responsibilities of the Procurement & Contract Department, including: Process new applications and renewals of agreement from the management, users, or contractors. Monitor contract expirations and ensure timely renewal process, including administration fees, insurance coverage, and bank guarantee tracking. Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting, managing negotiation processes, stamping, signing and documentation of agreements and addendums. Evaluate the performance and compliance of each agreement prior to its expiry date. Ensure compliance with relevant company policies including HSE and security requirements within contractual arrangements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the contract lifecyclePrepare comprehensive recommendation reports to management for new agreements, renewals, and terminationsManage IMS and ABMS controlled documents across departmental units, ensuring proper tracking and compliance. Qualifications;Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in contract administration, legal support and procurement functions. Good understanding of commercial agreements and legal documentation processes. Experience in the port or maritime industry is an advantage. Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office application, i. e Ms Excel, Word & Power Point.
