It involves ensuring adherence to Immigration Laws and Regulationss and delivering outstanding client service. The caseworker plays a vital role, whether they are assigned to a global account or a specific geographic region. They engage in close collaboration with clients, individual employees, legal teams, government entities, and various stakeholders. This collaboration is essential for facilitating efficient and well-coordinated immigration processes. The caseworker's responsibilities are crucial in managing the complexities of immigration procedures and ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.Visa Application Support – Ability to handle and manage all immigration and residency matters (via applications i.e. special pass, dependent pass and work permits etc.Client advisory – Has the ability provide legal and administrative support for immigration and global mobility processes in general. Tracking legislation changes and advising clients accordingly.The handler of paperwork – Assist clients with collating Visa application documentation, liaising with Immigration department, and advising on application procedures and applicable timelines. To handle end-to-end immigration processes across the East Africa countries, ensuring full compliance with local immigration, labor and tax lawsTo be the custodian of client records, keep an up-to-date immigration trackers and consistency data reporting accuracy and security.To work closely with clients’ Human Resources and Coordinating teams on matters Immigration compliance and advisory.Immigration Associate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in international relations, in law, business related or a related field.Ability to help individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of Kenya laws and East Africa countries. Clear understanding of local, Immigrations laws and any other relevant immigration services experience to deal and work with people from various backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. – the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a broad range of individuals, government agencies, and organizations.Must be strongly detail oriented and with excellent ability to follow instructions -Capacity to work under pressure to manage unexpected emerging issues to support stressed clients.Able to work with minimum supervision and within tight deadlines, but at the same time providing high quality client service under strict observance of all relevant regulations.Be flexible to work schedule adjustments – balancing between out of office and in-office responsibilities.High capacity to comprehend, interpret and analyze complex immigration laws and procedures to provide clear, concise, and authoritative guidance to clients and their employees.Solution-oriented -ability to exercise tact and good judgment in dealing with government officials and remain objective in emotional and tense situations while effectively able to identify and resolve challenges that arise during the immigration process to fulfil duties but strictly observing ethical policies.Team player – ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related Visa and Immigration related software ana systems.Additional InformationThis is a hybrid working mode job with visits to our office in AmsterdamWe are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status.Please note, AI is used as part of the application process.
