As we continue to evolve, our mission remains clear: to deliver fast, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that fuels the digital world.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & ReportingPrepare and finalise corporate income tax (CIT) returns and supporting workpapers for multiple EU jurisdictions.Validate and refine estimated/advance CIT instalments; reconcile to forecasts/prior periods, analyse variances, and propose true-ups.Handle complex WHT compliance: assess Double Tax Treaty (DTT) entitlement, determine appropriate DTT approaches, and prepare required documentation.Execute Pillar Two (GloBE) tasks for assigned entities: run safe-harbour tests, prepare QDMTT/top-up computations, review draft calculations, and track guidance changes.Review Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting data for submission.Ensure timely submission of corporate income tax returns, payments, estimates, and extensions.Prepare and review quarterly/annual provision workpapers (current/deferred) under IFRS and local GAAP; draft journal entries/disclosures and perform GL reconciliations.Maintain audit-ready records and clear version control across workpapers.Tax Accounting & ControlsReview the draft journal entries for corporate income tax, withholding taxes, non-recurring taxes, and the Pillar Two Qualified Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (QDMTT).Reconcile general ledger/trial balance income tax balances to the amounts in the filed returns; investigate variances and prepare adjusting entries.Follow the internal controls environment by following defined tax processes and procedures.Audit & Advisory SupportDraft the responses to information requests from tax authorities, external auditors, and senior internal stakeholders.Gather and validate data, assemble defence files with calculations and legal citations, draft position papers, and track commitments and deadlines.Monitor and interpret tax law changes, rulings, and administrative guidance affecting the business.Prepare concise impact briefs on material legislative developments affecting Zayo Group operations.Process Improvement & SystemsContribute to improving the efficiency of tax processes and use of technology.Help maintain data quality in tax compliance and reporting systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Scale Force, etc.).Education & Qualifications (desirable)Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or a related field.Fully or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA (or equivalent) is considered a plus.Experience4–6+ years in corporate/advisory income tax with multi-jurisdiction (EU) compliance and reporting; experience preparing and/or reviewing complex returns and workpapers.Proven application of DTTs: treaty-entitlement analysis, relief-at-source vs. reclaim, supporting DTT documentation.Exposure to transfer pricing coordination and tax accounting (IFRS and local GAAP) preferred but not essential.Skills & CompetenciesMust be fluent in English (spoken and written).
