Incoming Travel Agent

Is dealing with people enjoyable for you, and do you have strong customer service and leadership skills? We are currently looking for an Incoming Travel Agent to join our team in Bucharest. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow professionally in tourism. You will learn how travel programs are created and operated, from preparing offers and making reservations to coordinating guides, suppliers, and the logistics behind each successful trip.Our new colleague will have the following main responsibilities:Answering inquiries and requests coming from clients, partners, and colleaguesCreating, negotiating, and selling standard and customized travel programs in RomaniaIssuing vouchers, invoices, and receiptsBuilding relationships and communicating with suppliers and guides to ensure reservations are confirmed for every component of each tripAdministrating the schedule according to the available resourcesProvides after-hours phone support on a rotational basisMaintains the cash register logMonthly reporting for the accounting departmentOffering exceptional service levels to all customers, partners, and colleaguesSome shared general office dutiesThe successful candidate will have:At least one-year working experience in the travel industryStrong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsGood knowledge of Romania as a tourist destination (regions, sights, themes, etc)Basic knowledge of accountingGood command of English.
