Position Summary...What you'll do...About TeamThe Enterprise Business Services data science team at Walmart Global Tech leverages advanced machine learning, agentic AI, and optimization methodologies to address complex business challenges. The team conducts comprehensive data analyses, develops predictive models, and implements machine learning algorithms, while also creating intelligent AI agents that support autonomous, data-driven decision-making. Joining EBS means embarking on a journey of limitless growth, relentless innovation, and the chance to set new industry standards that shape the future of Walmart.What You Will DoDesign , develop and deploy AI-enabled tools to build solutions in Fintech domainCollaborate with cross-functional partners (Finance, Tech, Product) to align on priorities and execute initiativesPlay a key role to solve complex problems, pivotal to Walmart's business and drive actionable insightsClosely collaborate with team to drive data science adoption in the domainDrive efficiency across the domain in terms of DS and ML best practices, ML Ops practices, resource utilization, reusability and multi-tenancyArticulate and present recommendations to business partners and influence plans based on insightsWork with the customer-centric mindset to deliver high-quality business driven AI solutionsDrive innovation in approach, method, practices, process, outcome, delivery, or any component of end-to-end problem solvingProactively engages in the external community to build Walmart's brand and learn more about industry practicesPromote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrityWhat You Will BringQualifications: PhD (3-5 yrs) / Master’s (5-8yrs) / Bachelor’s (6-10 yrs) preferably in Computer ScienceProven experience in building ML models and deploying AI/ML solutions to productionExperience in building AI agents using RAG architectures and LLM orchestration frameworksHands-on exposure to AI engineering, Lang Graph, RAG, LLM optimizationStrong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and the AI/ML stackExperience with large-scale data handling and cloud-based platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of ownership and delivery focusStrong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical partnersAbout Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
