Please speak with your recruiter about your preferred location for remote work when you begin the interview process.In this remote role, you will report to our Head of Indirect Procurement.You WillProvide subject matter expertise and leadership on the categories you are responsible for including construction, operations facilities and the procurement of chargers, switch gears and other equipment to meet pressing demand schedules across our scaling operations. In partnership with stakeholders, develop multi-year category strategies that maximize value creation for Waymo.Lead the end-to-end RFX process, build relationships with strategic suppliers and oversee complex, Waymo-wide supplier relations, developing solutions to new problems and using foresight to anticipate future trends and issues. .Negotiate and draft agreements that minimize financial and business risk exposure, provide optimal terms and conditions, and enforce supplier accountability. Analyze data to determine the value of negotiations and the final change in total cost of ownershipSolve impactful multi-dimensional issues by implementing new processes, systems, or policies that address Waymo’s indirect procurement needs.You HaveAt least 10 years of procurement experience including 7+ years focusing on physical security, facilities, or construction services spend areas. Sourcing skills include: identifying sourcing opportunities, performing spend analysis, development of sourcing strategy, project management, development of RFX documents, negotiation, contract management, supplier bench-marking, contract compliance, purchase order development, resolution of payment issues, etc.Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all internal and external business contactsAbility to perform make versus buy outsourcing analyses and to develop total cost of ownership modelsAbility to influence others and to act as a change agent within their team and companyHigh personal integrity and ethicsWe PreferBachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field; or equivalent education and work experienceDemonstrated track record for being innovative and able to quickly deliver significant and measurable results in a fast-changing organizationInternal or external business consulting experience highly desiredStrong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills and have a noticeable positive impact on the velocity and success of your teammatesThe expected base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.Salary Range£110,000—£119,000 GBP
