Industrial Designer

Seeking: EXPERIENCED INDUSTRIAL (PRODUCT) DESIGNERStart Date: 05 January 2026Position: Full Time | Monday – Friday (38hr week)About Us: We are an award-winning design consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia. We provide the highest quality product design service to not only individuals but companies alike. We have clients based locally in Perth as well as nationally and internationally. We are a young, energetic team that focuses on our day-to-day and designing new products, but also enjoys quarterly lunches, posting ourselves on social media and early finish Fridays. We are looking for someone to join our team to be a part of the future of new product development. About You: A highly experienced Industrial (Product) Designer. A creative, out of the box thinker who has an eye for detail, an understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques and a solid grasp of materials. You should be confident in your ability to take a design from an idea on paper to a 3D model that is functional (not just aesthetic). You should have strong communication skills both written and verbal and be a team-player yet autonomous and reliable. You should be confident in Solidworks and the Adobe / Microsoft Suite. About the Role: Every day is varied and different which is what you’d expect from this industry: from internal meetings to client / supplier meetings, to solid days spent at your computer taking an idea for a brand-new product from a sketch to a block model through to a fully detailed production pack including 2D Technical Drawings and Production Documentation. There may be overseas travel to our suppliers in China, the occasional work on site and every day will require working collaboratively with our other designers and our graphic design department. How to Apply: We don’t focus on a qualification in this company; this role will be hired based on ability and experience and not a certificate of completion. We would like to see one project you have worked on that shows your ability to present your work and demonstrates your eye for Sketching, 3D Modelling and 2D Technical Drawings.
