Industrial EngineerLocation: Dublin 15 Duration: Full time permanentReporting into: Engineering ManagerIndustry: ManufacturingIf you come from any of the below roles, you may be a fit:Manufacturing EngineerProcess EngineerProduction EngineerContinuous Improvement EngineerLean Manufacturing EngineerProcess Improvement SpecialistOperational Excellence EngineerValue Stream EngineerIn this role you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site.The Industrial Engineer will adopt as its goals profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.The Industrial Engineer will drive efficient Product and Material throughout the factory.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProject Leader: implementing projects that will eliminate waste, through standard Industrial Engineering processesThis will include but is not limited to: Capital Equipment Requests, Capabilities Studies, Plant Layouts, Tool Design, and Standard WorkDrive seemless NPI intergrationDevelop Time standards, Standard Man Hours, Units Per Hour, Units per Person per HourGather and analyse Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customer or areaCoordinate layout and facility move(s) for assigned customer or area(s)Collect, analyse and review data to insure accuracy and compliance with the standard processMonitor the SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations and insure compliance with the standardised system configurationsGather and/or develop data for quotesCoach, mentor and train engineers & Technicians within the Engineering teamSupport and/or maintain all lower level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilitiesEnsure the standardisation of company processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site directionSupport the Lean organisation by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organizationComply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONSMinimum – Batchelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline – Industrial / Manufacturing / MechanicalA project management qualification is desireableKey Requirements:Understanding and application of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design, etc.)Strong analytical abilityProven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programsUnderstanding of Inventory management systems & processesAbility to analyse large data sets and formulate strategic improvements from themKnowledge of simulation applicationsUnderstanding of site’s facilities, capabilities and how they tie back to the company strategies and directionGood working knowledge of Autocad or other design softwareStrong communication skillsProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills required.For further information, please contact Alan on alan@accpro.ie
