The R&D Design Center is responsible for industrial product design, aesthetics, usability and packaging for the Össur prosthetic portfolio.ResponsibilitiesLeading Industrial Design work in different design and development projects in collaboration with a cross functional project team and design agencies. Responsible in collaboration with the cross-functional team for bringing product and packaging through the process of conceptual design, from initial idea to commercial launch in global markets. Providing visuals from 2D sketching to 3D CAD renderings Working on User Experience Research to gather insight to be used in product design and development. QualificationsUniversity degree in industrial product design or relevant field 3-5 years of work experience as industrial/product designer in a relevant field Strong understanding of the Design Process for Product Design Strong visual skills, sketching and presentation Experience and knowledge in 3D modeling application such as SolidWorks , Fusion 360, or Rhino: CAD surfacing knowledge is required Design approach inspired by the user, and capabilities to work closely with research to inform and validate design work Highly proficient in spoken and written English Strong communication skills: verbal and written presentation Experience working on packaging design is considered a bonus Graphic Design skills and experience Passionate about user centric design and willingness to learn We encourage people to apply for the position regardless of gender or origin. Application period ends on December 1st, 2025.Össur is a leading global provider of prosthetics and bracing and supports solutions.Embla Medical is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
