As an Industry Solutions Specialist at COPA-DATA, you’ll work at the interface between market, customers, and product development. You’ll drive our activities in renewable energy and supply-infrastructure sectors and build strong relationships with strategic customers. With your expertise and enthusiasm, you’ll create real value — both internally and externally. You bring energy to every challenge.Your TasksMonitor market and technology trends in the energy sector.Provide technical and strategic support to key accounts (not commercial sales).Represent COPA-DATA at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.Create and maintain industry demos, white papers, and marketing content.Support tenders, requirements/specifications, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).Liaise with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Technology teams.Deliver internal and external trainings and workshops.Build and maintain relationships with TSOs, DSOs, and other industry stakeholders.Your QualificationsEducation: HTL (technical college) or degree in Electrical Engineering / Smart Energy Systems.Minimum 7 years’ experience in the energy industry (e.g., wind, solar, storage, industrial plants).Practical experience with SCADA/HMI systems and customer projects.Excellent English; German is a plus.Strong project and customer managment experience and confident presentation skills.Good communication skills, eagerness to learn, and interest in leadership development.You work in a structured, autonomous way and feel comfortable in fast-moving projects.Nice to have: PMP or IPMA certification, experience running industry events, and white-paper authorship.Depending on professional experience, this position is at least classified according to the IT collective agreement in ST1/entry level. The final gross salary is in line with the market and is based on your training, qualifications and experience.This position is part of the Global sales / business development team.Which special skills/soft skills should I bring to the table?Being extroverted is ideal for this job, as you will often appear and present publicly.
