Our product is a powerful Chrome extension that turns your favorite websites into simple and effective learning materials by providing translations on words, subtitles, and more.Job OverviewWe’re looking for a proactive and creative Influencer Marketing Manager who shares our passion for language learning and online communities. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, recruit, and manage influencer and creator partnerships that drive awareness and adoption of Migaku.You’ll also work closely with our content and social teams to co-create engaging short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deeply plugged into the creator economy, and excited to build relationships with influencers across language, lifestyle, education, and tech niches.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own Migaku’s influencer and creator marketing strategyIdentify, outreach to, and recruit influencers and content creators who align with Migaku’s missionManage relationships with new and existing influencer partners, from onboarding to campaign executionCoordinate product gifting, affiliate opportunities, and paid campaigns as appropriateCollaborate with influencers to co-create engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)Track and analyze performance of influencer campaigns (reach, engagement, conversions, ROI)Keep up with influencer trends, creator platforms, and relevant communitiesCollaborate with internal content and social media teams on content ideas and marketing initiativesOccasionally appear in video content or behind the scenes as neededRequirements2+ years experience in influencer marketing, talent management, or creator partnershipsStrong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube influencer ecosystemsDemonstrated success in recruiting and managing influencer relationshipsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsCreative eye for social-first video content and what performs well across platformsSelf-starter with exceptional organization and project management skillsPassion for language learning and digital communitiesNice to HaveExisting network of influencers in language learning, productivity, education, or tech nichesComfortable participating in or producing short-form contentExperience with video editing or directing creator contentFamiliarity with affiliate marketing or ambassador programsJapanese language skills or cultural fluency (if non-native)Perks & Work CultureRemote Work While we support remote work, this role requires the individual to be based in Tokyo in order to collaborate closely with the Migaku team on content creation and planning. If you are not currently located in Tokyo but willing to move here, please feel free to apply!Flexible Time Off 36 flexible vacation/sick days per year. Work hard, play hard, and take time to recharge when needed.Working Hours No fixed hours. We value results over time clocks. Just be available for essential meetings and collaborate smoothly with the team. Expectation of a minimum 40-hour workweek.
