The VBL, based in Karlsruhe, is Germany's largest supplementary pension scheme for public sector employees and looks after around 5.3 million insured persons and around 1.5 million pensioners.For the Executive Board Staff department, we are looking for aInformation Security Officer (m/f/d) with a focus on security compliance auditsThe Information Security Unit is responsible for information security management at VBL with a team of security experts. The unit covers the entire spectrum from the development of security requirements to support and advice on the implementation of measures through to auditing and awareness-raising in order to meet the challenges in this area appropriately.Your tasks Conducting audits: You will carry out systematic audits of existing security measures with regard to the degree of fulfillment of the requirements of BSI IT-Grundschutz and DORA as well as effectiveness and state of the art. Evaluation of security concepts: Your tasks include analyzing and evaluating security concepts and carrying out risk analyses based on BSI standard 200-3. Security measures: You recommend improvements for security measures to increase the security level and monitor their implementation. Consulting: you advise and support specialist departments and projects on security issues Awareness measures: IT sensitization and further training as well as the implementation of training courses and information campaigns are part of your tasks. Your profile Education: You have a degree in computer science, business informatics with a focus on information security or equivalent knowledge and experience. Experience and knowledge: You have relevant professional experience in the field of information security as well as practical experience in conducting security audits, IT baseline protection checks, risk analyses and the evaluation of security concepts. Specialist knowledge: You have a good overview of information security, especially with regard to BSI IT-Grundschutz and DORA (ideally proven with certificates). Personality: You are a team-oriented, strong communicator with a consulting mentality and have good organizational and analytical skills. Working style: A structured, solution-oriented way of working, enthusiasm and an interest in continuous professional development round off your profile.
