Information Systems and Security Officer

A well remarkable & reputable company in Credit Rating Services, operating since 2003 in Egypt and across the region, is seeking to hire an #Information_Systems_and_Security_Officer to join its dynamic team. The company has established strong partnerships with international organizations, which enhances its capability to provide exceptional services. #Job_Resposibilities  Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.Ensure the security and efficiency of all information systems.Information Security:Design and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect organizational data from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and data breaches.Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks to information systems and network infrastructure.Incident Response and Disaster Recovery:Develop and maintain incident response plans to respond to potential cybersecurity incidents.Manage and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of data loss, system failures, or cyberattacks.Training and Awareness:Provide training to employees on best practices for information security, including data protection, password management, and safe internet usage.Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.Collaboration and Support:Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to ensure alignment between security measures and business goals.Provide technical support related to security issues and assist in troubleshooting. #Job_Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.+7 years proven experience in IT system management, cybersecurity, or related fields.In-depth knowledge of information security principles, tools, and practices.Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, encryption, and security technologies.Ability to identify vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and implement appropriate solutions. #How_to_Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume to yassmin.aly@merisratings.com Please include "Information Systems and Security Office" in the subject line.
