Information Technology - Application Developer (Customer Services) (Malaysia)

Job DescriptionReview business requirements and perform impact analysis.Work with IT and business units to propose IT solutions by refining specifications and requirements based on available technology. Liaise with business users and developers to refine user stories.Design and code using best software development practices.Create and maintain software documentation, including solution proposals, detailed technical design and test scriptsAnticipate potential issues that may impact the implementation of initiatives.Support applications and track for prompt resolution of problems and issues.This is a sole contributor role. RequirementsPossess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.At least 5 years of experience in application development.Strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills.Experience with Java application design, solutioning (including database design) and software development.Java (web) based software development experience, including object oriented design and system architecture for web applicationsStrong understanding of Web User Interface Design (UI), cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.Experience with APIs, Java based Web Services (SOAP UI), Multimedia Content Development, session managementExperience with programming languages such as XML, JSON, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Java, JavaScript.Experience with JavaScript technology such as Angular, JQuery Library and React framework will be an added advantageFamiliarity with continuous integration & build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.Knowledge in other IT technical areas (network, servers, information security, middleware and AWS) will be advantageous.
