IT Helpdesk Specialist (Entry-Level)Location: Waterfall Bank - ClearwaterDepartment: Information Technology / Information SecurityReports To: Information Security OfficerEmployment Type: Full-Time About the jobWaterfall Bank is a new community bank located in Clearwater, FL with a strong focus on customer service. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to use and further develop their skills in IT support within a secure and professional banking environment. Are you interested? The ideal candidate will excel at providing top-tier customer service, prompt and professional technical assistance to internal users, and will ensure seamless operation of hardware, software, and banking systems. Key Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.Independently diagnose and troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.Proven ability to setup, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.Support banking applications and systems, escalating issues to senior IT staff when necessary.Responsible for logging and documenting issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.Enable and maintain user access and permissions in accordance with security policies.Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices.Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely resolution of issues.Follow established procedures for incident response and escalation.Qualifications:Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite / M365, and networking fundamentals.Positive attitude with strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for learning and growth in a regulated IT environment.Prior internship or helpdesk experience is preferred but not required.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.Experience with ticketing systems.Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy in financial institutions.Why Join Us?Opportunity to grow within a digitally focused, stable and reputable financial institution.Supportive team environment with ongoing training and development.Competitive salary and benefits package. Resumes can be sent to ryanwolford@waterfallbank.com
